Where Story Bridges Community

The purpose of this organization is to promote the oral tradition of storytelling in the community in all its forms: traditional, creative, educational, cultural, personal and therapeutic. Our intent is to nurture family, community and professional storytelling throughout New Hampshire. To this end the N.H.S.A. is organized as a non-profit corporation for artistic, educational and charitable purposes.

The New Hampshire Storytelling Alliance provides assistance in producing and promoting the oral tradition of storytelling in many ways. It offers assistance to its members and their communities through conferences, workshops, festivals, in the classroom and at many venues throughout the state.

The New Hampshire Storytelling Alliance is incorporated as a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of New Hampshire and as such qualifies for tax exempt status pursuant to Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service code of 1954 as amended.
